Halpenny Named GTA Chairman

Bally Technologies executive Adrian Halpenny has been named chairman of the Gaming Technologies Association, after serving on the organization’s board for three years.

The Gaming Technologies Association, the trade and lobbying organization for Australian gaming equipment suppliers, has announced that Adrian Halpenny, senior vice president of Australia and Europe  for slot-maker Bally Technologies, is the organization’s new chairman.

Halpenny has been a member of GTA’s board of directors since March 2011, and has been heavily involved in board committees and related activities.

“It is a privilege to work with my colleagues at the GTA,” Halpenny said. “Our strength is immense technical knowledge and experience, and I look forward to continuing the great work done by (previous Chairman) Andrew Hely, who worked very hard to provide reliable and sensible input to a very wide range of discussions with various government bodies and with our friends and colleagues in the gaming industry.”
