Hard Rock International announced plans for a 220-room Hard Rock Hotel in Atlanta opening in spring 2018. Located next to the future Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the hotel will offer a rooftop and lobby lounges, heated outdoor pool and Hard Rock exclusives including the Rock Spa, Rock Shop, Body Rock and Hard Rock Café.

A 220-room Hard Rock Hotel will open next to Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the future home of the Atlanta Falcons, in spring 2018, Hard Rock International officials recently announced. Marco Roca, executive vice president of global hotel development at Hard Rock International, owned by Florida’s Seminole tribe, said, “Atlanta has become a preferred destination among travelers and the city’s widespread appeal makes it an ideal destination for Hard Rock’s global fan base. We look forward to showcasing our world-class brand and bringing the Hard Rock Hotels experience to this thriving modern city.”

Developed with Bolton Atlanta LP and managed by Hard Rock International, Hard Rock Hotel Atlanta will offer a lobby lounge destined to be a local gathering spot; heated outdoor swimming pool; and rooftop lounge and restaurant. Exclusive Hard Rock features will include a Rock Spa with the brand’s latest music-infused spa treatments; Body Rock workout facility; Rock Shop offering Hard Rock iconic merchandise; and a Hard Rock Cafe that captures the spirit of the artsy Castleberry Hill neighborhood. As in all Hard Rock Hotels, the walls will be lined with music memorabilia from local to global icons. The property also will have more than 10,660 square feet of ballroom and banquet space.

There was no word if the Hard Rock Hotel could qualify as a casino if and when Georgia passes legislation approving casino gaming.

Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed said, “The new Hard Rock Hotel in Castleberry Hill will offer a new, best-in-class option for the millions of people visiting Atlanta each year. In addition to serving tourists and visitors, this new hotel will serve as a powerful economic anchor, bringing new jobs and further investment to our downtown corridor and stadium neighborhoods.”

Frank Chen, general manager of Bolton Atlanta LP, added, “We’re thrilled to announce our collaboration with Hard Rock International as part of the Castleberry Park development, an EB-5 project. The area’s energetic atmosphere and history of embracing artistic endeavors aligns well with the Hard Rock Hotel product and we’re sure the upcoming property will quickly become the go-to entertainment and leisure destination.”
