Hard Rock Hotel New Orleans Coming In 2019

Hard Rock International announced it will open Hard Rock Hotel New Orleans and the Residences at the Hard Rock Hotel New Orleans in the historic French Quarter. The 18-story hotel is scheduled to open in spring 2019. Todd Hricko, senior vice president, head of global hotel development for Hard Rock International, said, “As Hard Rock continues to expand globally, our focus will be influential cities with deep musical roots. Home to a unique melting pot of cultures, New Orleans — known for its nightlife and vibrant live-music scene – has been a desirable choice for our next Hard Rock Hotel.”

Hard Rock Hotel New Orleans will offer 350 rooms plus 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom for-purchase units. Nearly every room will offer excellent views and a balcony or terrace overlooking the city, including Canal-facing parade-route suites. Memorabilia from the local music scene will adorn the walls, as in other Hard Rock properties; the company’s collection now totals more than 80,000 priceless music items. The New Orleans property also will feature four meeting spaces and two ballrooms offering a total of 12,000 square feet.

Other amenities will include a lobby bar, rooftop bar and lounge and a pool bar and grill. Regionally inspired food and beverage offerings will be available at a variety of dining venues including an upscale restaurant.

Also on-site will be the Rock Shop retail store, the Body Rock workout facility and the in-room Rock Om yoga experience. As an added bonus, hotel guests can enjoy VIP services at the Rock Royalty Level and Lounge.

Mohan Kailas, founder of local developers Kailas Companies, said, “We feel privileged to partner with Hard Rock International to bring this exciting development to the French Quarter. Our goal is to host New Orleans’ great traditions of music and cuisine through fine dining, entertainment, and rooftop venues. We are excited to share the Hard Rock experience, and we’re sure it will soon become a favorite for locals and visitors alike.”
