Hard Rock International Appoints Hook

Jeffrey Hook has been named executive vice president of development and marketing at Hard Rock International, where he will oversee the global development of Hard Rock casinos outside of the Asian continent. Previously Hook was senior vice president of business development and marketing. He also worked at MGM, Boyd Gaming and Harrah's Entertainment.

Hard Rock International Appoints Hook

Hard Rock International Chairman Jim Allen recently announced Jeffrey Hook has been named executive vice president of development and marketing at Hard Rock International. Most recently Hook served as senior vice president of business development and marketing for the company. In his new position, Hook will be responsible for the global development of Hard Rock casinos, except on the Asian continent where Hard Rock International Chief Executive Officer for Asia, Ed Tracy, will oversee casino development.

Hook joined Seminole Gaming in 2008 as senior vice president of marketing, with overall marketing responsibility for the Seminole Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos in Hollywood and Tampa, as well as other Seminole casinos in Florida. With 23 years of experience in the gaming industry, Hook also held leadership positions at MGM, Boyd Gaming and Harrah’s Entertainment.

Hook holds a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from the University of Kansas in Lawrence.
