Harrison Named Hollywood, Boomtown GM

Chett Harrison has been named general manager at Boomtown Biloxi Casino and Casino Bay St. Louis, Mississippi Gulf Coast properties owned by Penn National Gaming. Harrison replaces Boomtown Manager Kees Eder who is retiring. Also, Steve Lambert has been named general manager at Hollywood Casino Tunica.

Penn National Gaming announced Chett Harrison has been named general manager at Boomtown Biloxi Casino and Hollywood Casino Bay St. Louis, both in Mississippi. Harrison served as manager at Boomtown before leaving to manage Hollywood Casino Bay St. Louis in 2010. He will replace Boomtown Manager Kees Eder who is retiring after 13 years with Penn National and more than 40 years in the casino and hospitality industry.

Harrison joined Penn National in January 2001 as director of marketing at Boomtown Biloxi. He was promoted to assistant general manager in 2006 and general manager in 2007. Harrison  also worked at the Copa Casino in Gulfport and the Palace Casino Resort in Biloxi.

Penn National also announced 33-year casino veteran Steve Lambert has been named general manager at Hollywood Casino Tunica. Lambert joined Penn National in 2005 and currently serves as acting general manager of Hollywood Casino in Perryville, Maryland, owned by Gaming & Leisure Properties.

We believe that Chett will successfully leverage the ongoing marketing efforts of both properties and enable Penn National Gaming to take advantage of a host of other opportunities in the local community. Chett’s prior experience with managing marketing activities across multiple properties and his deep experience with the Biloxi and Bay St. Louis communities will serve him well as he assumes this additional responsibility and spearheads the evolution of Penn National Gaming’s presence on the Gulf Coast.”
