At MotorCity Casino Hotel in Detroit, owner Marian Ilitch announced Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer Bruce Dall will serve as interim president. Dall will fill the gap between the departure of President and Chief Executive Officer Gregg Solomon, whose contract was not extended for undisclosed reasons, and the promotion of Senior Vice President of Operations Jenny Holaday to Solomon’s former position, pending approval of the Michigan Gaming Control Board, which will meet on March 8.
Holaday brings 30 years of casino-industry experience to her new role. Currently , as senior vice president of operations, a position she has held for six years, Holaday oversees casino, hotel, food and beverage, entertainment, workforce management and marketing. She also has served as vice president of marketing at the casino.
Prior to joining MotorCity, Holaday ran her own marketing consultancy firm for three years. She also was a marketing consultant for Las Vegas-based Multimedia Games and was regional vice president of marketing for Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City from 2003-2007. Holaday also served as corporate vice president of loyalty marketing for Nevada-based Mandalay Resort Group.
