ICE App to Help Navigate Show

The producers of the ICE Totally Gaming trade show in February have made an app available to help attendees navigate the show.

Clarion Gaming, organizer of the ICE Totally Gaming trade show, slated for February 2-4 at London’s ExCel Centre, has made a free app available to help attendees “remain constantly aware of all the various events and the latest news,” according to a press release from the company.

Attendees at ICE 2016 in February can download the special app free from Google Play or iTunes, depending on whether their smartphone or tablet is powered by Android or iOS, respectively. More than 38,000 attendees downloaded the app for ICE 2015, but that figure is expected to increase now that the event organizers have made it more functional.

“ICE has designed the app with the needs of attendees in mind,” said the statement. “Those who download the app will be able to utilize a range of features to help them coordinate their schedule. ICE has promised that the app will share the entire event schedule, announce product launches, deliver information on speakers and provide access to a planner that can remind attendees about their upcoming meetings.”

The theme for 2016 is that attendees will “Enter the Gaming Technopolis,” said ICE marketing chief Jo Mayer, who also described the conference as a “pop-up city.”
