IGT Interactive announced the first-ever simultaneous mobile and online game release with the launch of adaptations of three classic Hasbro board games—“Battleship,” “Cluedo Classic” (the original European version of the game known as “Clue” in the U.S.) AND “Dungeons & Dragons: Treasures of Icewind Dale.”
The Battleship game recalls the popular board game, while adding stacked multiplying wild symbols and free spins. The Dungeons & Dragons title is IGT’s third installment of that popular brand. Cluedo Classic offers a combination of sneaky suspects and deadly weapons against a backdrop of mystery and murder in the famous mansion.
“Our first simultaneous online and mobile launch is a great cause for celebration,” said Leigh Nissim, IGT’s commercial director of interactive. “It firmly underlines our commitment to mobile and providing the same top quality content across all channels. With finely tuned math models and blockbuster brands behind them, (the three games) have the ingredients to become popular among our players.”
All three games are available to IGT Remote Gaming Server (rgs) partners, with the mobile launch of Cluedo Classic in March.
