IGT Signs Oregon VLT Deal

IGT will provide 850 new video lottery terminals to the Oregon State Lottery, which augments more than 1,500 games the company agreed last year to provide the lottery.

Slot manufacturer International Game Technology announced a new contract to provide 850 video lottery terminals to the Oregon State Lottery. IGT, which now holds a 40 percent market share in Oregon, committed last year to provide another 1,500 terminals to the state.

The games include several titles that have been top performers on casino floors nationwide, as well as several video poker titles.

“As a leader in the VLT space, IGT remains focused on expanding into every regulated gaming jurisdiction, bringing the best possible content and technology to players who demand the ultimate gaming experience,” said Eric Tom, IGT executive vice president of global sales for IGT. “On a global level, VLT markets continue to grow rapidly, and IGT’s recent deal with the Oregon State Lottery is just one example of how the company is on the forefront of the VLT market’s growth.”

In addition to its agreement with IGT for new VLTs, the Oregon State Lottery will upgrade 2,700 IGT Trim Line and Game King machines already in the field, with a new “best of the best” game set that offers top player favorites together on a single program.
