The Delta Group, the only listed casino operator in India, plans to focus on expanding its domestic market, said President of Operations Anil Malani, speaking to Travel Trends Today.
Malani said the company is waiting for a license to operate its casino resort in the territory of Daman. Delta operates resorts under the Deltin brand.
Malani said, “Deltin already has a presence in Kathmandu, Nepal with ‘Deltin Casino International.’ Apart from the same, we are majorly focusing on the domestic market for now which is our strength because we understand the market well.”
He called 2021 “a year full of turmoil and uncertainty, and the same is not over yet with the advent of the new variant Omicron, which everyone is closely watching.”
