Intralot Unveils Pre-Commitment Gaming

Intralot Gaming Service on December 1 unveiled its first voluntary pre-commitment scheme, which is called “YourPlay,” for its 28,500 electronic gaming machines located across Victoria, including the Melbourne Casino. The voluntary scheme is designed to enhance responsible gaming and prevent problem gambling from affecting individuals, their families, and their communities.

Intralot Gaming Services on December 1 unveiled its first voluntary pre-commitment scheme, branded “YourPlay” for a network of 28,500 electronic gaming machines across the State of Victoria.

The launch follows a 2014 agreement between Intralot and the Victorian government to operate the pre-commitment service for a period of 12 years, until August 2027.

“We are extremely pleased to celebrate the launch of an unprecedented Voluntary Pre-commitment Scheme,” Intralot Group COO Nikos Nikolakopoulos said.

“We are confident that it is a great asset of the Victorian government and will strongly support it in its endeavors to enhance responsible gaming across the state.”

The pre-commitment solution in Victoria, Australia, is a state-of-the-art responsible gaming initiative that is voluntary for players, but mandatory on all gaming machines operating in Victoria, including at the Melbourne Casino.

Victorians will have the power to track and limit their betting on any electronic gaming machine in the state. The technology allows players to limit their spending spend, track their time, and set personalized warning messages.
