A subsidiary of Parkwest Casinos based in Northern California has purchased the site of one of the largest card clubs in the Golden State: Bicycle Hotel & Casino in Bell Gardens. The sell price was $102 million.

The property has been redubbed Parkwest Bicycle Casino.

A separate entity, also related to Parkwest, purchased the business itself for an unannounced amount.

The April 12 sale was announced by Jeff Van Wagner, a Los Angeles lawyer who worked with the buyer.

Besides being a card club, the property also has a spa, dining, a 99-room hotel and a poker room with 185 tables.

The casino is the single largest contributor to the revenue of the city of Bell Gardens. There are 89 licensed card rooms in the state.
