The Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission and the Netherlands Gaming Authority have signaled their intent to reach an agreement after the country adopts a new Gaming and Betting Act that legalizes online gambling.
The two have signed a Letter of Intent expressing a mutual wish to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding.
The agreement will establish a formal basis for cooperation and information sharing between the Isle of Man and the Netherlands gambling authorities, officials said.
The agreement would focus on protection of consumers and improving regulatory standards through the exchange of knowledge, provision of assistance and establishment of a good working relationship.
