Italy Progressing on Online Poker Player Sharing

The head of Italy’s online gaming regulator says the country is making progress towards a shared online poker player deal with other European markets. The country reportedly could present a regulatory framework for player sharing this month.

Daria Petralia, head of Italy’s online gaming regulation agency, said the country is working towards a player sharing agreement with other European markets, according to local media reports.

Potential agreements could be presented in the next few months, he said.

A number of European markets are reportedly discussing sharing player pools and Italy is close to presenting a regulatory framework, which could be introduced at a meeting in May in Brussels, Petralia told Italian media.
