Interim CEO of Ladbrokes Australia Jason Scott has officially been given the job, the bookmaker announced, saying the move comes after Scott’s “successful time in charge” of the division.
Scott was appointed interim CEO of Ladbrokes Australia in February following Dean Shannon. He was previously the division’s trading director.
“Jason has fitted seamlessly into the CEO role and Ladbrokes Australia has continued to show strong momentum and financial performance under his leadership,” Jim Mullen Ladbrokes Coral CEO said in a press statement. “The appointment of Jason on a permanent basis is just reward for his commitment and hard work. He has the history of the business in his blood, he understands the Australian market and its regulatory agenda and has a clear vision for what he wants the business to achieve.”
