Joe Lupo joined Hard Rock International in 2016 where was assigned to guide the expansion project for Hard Rock Tampa property, one of the most successful casinos in the world. Two years later, he was transferred to Hard Rock Atlantic City where he helped to improve revenues and performance at the property. Lupo knows Atlantic City like the back of his hand. He spent over 12 years as an executive with Borgata, still Atlantic City’s most successful casino. Lupo talks about how his property and his company navigated the pandemic, how it managed the reopening process and why it’s gaming market share every month now that all restrictions have been removed. He spoke with GGB Publisher Roger Gros at his office in the Hard Rock for the cover story of the August issue of GGB in July.
