The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario has approved a license for Kambi Group to partner with operators in the Ontario online sports betting market.

The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) has approved Malta-based Kambi Group PLC as a platform provider or consumer-facing partners in the new Ontario online sports betting market.

Kambi received confirmation from the AGCO of its registration as a Gaming-Related Supplier effective April 4, the date when regulated online single-event wagering launches in Canada’s most populous province.

The registration allows Kambi to provide its sportsbook technology and services to operator partners when the market launches next month, including its ice hockey product and expansive Bet Builder capability.
