On October 10, Aristocrat Gaming announced that Joe Kaminkow has been appointed its new chief innovation officer.
In his new role, Kaminkow “will help drive innovation across Aristocrat enterprise, including in new gaming products and mobile game genres,” said the gaming supplier in a press release.
Kaminkow will report to Aristocrat’s chief product officer, Matt Primmer. He will also work with teams across the group’s various business segments, including Aristocrat Gaming, Pixel United and Anaxi, the latter the newly rebranded online real money gaming (RMG) division.
Kaminkow has a long-standing relationship with the Aristocrat group, appointed first in 2013 as a senior vice president of game development at Aristocrat Gaming, according to the statement. He previously served as chief creative officer at social video game developer Zynga Inc. Kaminkow holds more than 130 patents encompassing game design, operations, and networks.
Hector Fernandez, chief executive of Aristocrat Gaming, said the company is “delighted that someone of Joe’s caliber” will be “working full-time across the company … helping us to further penetrate growth opportunities and develop even more outstanding talent within our business.”
Kaminkow said he was “thrilled to expand” his “commitment to Aristocrat in a dedicated, full-time role.”
Aristocrat Gaming is part of Australia-listed Aristocrat Leisure Ltd.
