Kansas Crossing Celebrates Beam Signing

As the final steel beam was placed at Kansas Crossing Casino and Hotel, under construction in Pittsburg, Kansas, lead developer Bruce Christenson saluted "the start of the finish" at the $80 million development. It's set to open in March 2017, offering 625 slots and 16 table games, plus a 123-suite hotel.

Kansas Crossing Casino and Hotel, under construction in Pittsburg, Kansas, recently held a “beam signing” ceremony to honor the placement of the final steel beam. Lead developer and investor Bruce Christenson said, “The ceremonial setting of the final structural beam signifies the start of the finish. It’s from now on we’re finishing up the casino.”

Scheduled to open in March 2017, the $80 million development will feature 625 slot machines, 16 gaming tables, 123 suites and an entertainment complex.

Casino officials also announced job applications and players club registrations now are being accepted online.
