Kaws, KISS Members Announce Casino Resort

Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of the rock band KISS will partner with the Kaw Nation on a new "rock 'n roll casino and resort experience," including a Rock & Brews restaurant, at the tribe's SouthWind Casino in Braman, Oklahoma. A groundbreaking will be held and details will be revealed on January 12.

The Kaw Nation and Kaw Gaming Incorporated recently announced a partnership with Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, members of rock band KISS, to “create a completely new and reimagined rock ‘n roll casino and resort experience” including a Rock & Brews restaurant, at the tribe’s SouthWind Casino in Braman, Oklahoma, according to Rock & Brews website. Details about the project will be revealed at the groundbreaking ceremony on January 12.

Kaw Nation Chairwoman Jacque Secondline Hensley said, “This partnership with Rock & Brews will provide the Kaw Nation with the opportunity to again be the prime gaming and entertainment destination in our market.”

More than a dozen Rock & Brews restaurants operate in the U.S., including Dallas and Oklahoma City. The Kaw Nation partnership will be the first Rock & Brews at a casino and resort.

The Kaw Nation also operates SouthWind casinos in Kaw City and Newkirk, Oklahoma.
