Cashless payments innovators Koin and Marker Trax have made two key additions to assist in expanding into new markets for their advanced payment solutions and responding to customer inquiries. Sean Salce assumes the role of vice president of business development, eastern region, and Mark J. Wiedemer is the new senior director of business development.

An accomplished industry veteran with a background in gaming technology and revenue management, Salce has served in leadership positions for several gaming and technology heavy hitters, including as a key client support manager for Konami Gaming, and a director of sales at software company Joingo and Sightline Payments. With a depth of experience in both building sales management teams from the ground up and leading those teams to success, Salce will play an important role in supporting Koin and Marker Trax as they continue to grow their global reach.

Wiedemer adds tremendous depth to the sales team, bringing over three decades of industry expertise gained while developing key relationships with and forging distribution networks for leading companies within the gaming and technology sectors. Most recently, Wiedemer led sales teams at several influential sports wagering companies, including Suzohapp, LLC, and the Score, in addition to his past business development and sales leadership roles at IGT Europe, Bally Technologies, and IGT North America.

“We are delighted to have Sean and Mark as key members of the growing Koin and Marker Trax sales team and are confident that their contributions will greatly assist our cashless transformation of the gaming industry,” said Gary Larkin, president of Koin. “Koin and Marker Trax together are leading an unprecedented digital evolution, and so we’re recruiting the brightest minds in the industry to help that growth continue.”

Wiedemer and Salce will work together to develop opportunities for deployment of advanced cashless solutions in their respective regions, developing and implementing gaming vertical, jurisdictional, and partner-specific strategic plans. Market education and ongoing operator training and support will be integral components of their responsibilities.

“More than just leading our market expansion, Sean and Mark play important roles in helping the companies achieve their cashless mission while developing long-term, trusted partner relationships with all our customers,” said Mark Morton, senior vice president of sales for Koin and Marker Trax.
