Konami Gaming has named longtime software engineering leader Eric Schultz (l.) as its new vice president of studio operations, to oversee the company’s game development efforts.

Konami Gaming, Inc. announced the appointment of Eric Schultz, formerly its software engineering leader and product expert, as the new vice president of studio operations.

In his new position, Schultz will lead overall game development spanning software development, art design, sound design, math design, and project management.

Schultz brings a proven track record of success with Konami, dating back to 2004 when he was brought on to the software engineering team, and achieved ongoing promotions to later become senior director of game software engineering in 2014.

In 2018, Shultz left Konami to join Everi Holdings, where he most recently was vice president of game technology. He has 20 years of experience in game design.
