Reed Exhibitions and the American Gaming Association (AGA) today announced that Korbi Carrison has been named event director for the Global Gaming Expo (G2E), the world-class international gaming trade show. Serving as the new event director, Carrison will be responsible for designing, building and delivering a dynamic experience to the tens-of-thousands of gaming-industry professionals who travel from around the world to attend G2E in Las Vegas each year.
“Korbi is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience and expertise across both the gaming and trade show industries,” said Melissa Ashley, senior vice president, Reed Exhibitions. “AGA and Reed are excited to welcome Korbi to the team, and to benefit from her perspective as a G2E exhibitor and contractor since its inception. We look forward to Korbi’s many contributions as we work together to make G2E an exceptional experience for the gaming industry.”
Carrison stated, “G2E’s greatest strength lies its ability to connect people from various branches of the casino-entertainment business in a place where they can share ideas, collaborate and find solutions that will impact the bottom line and keep our industry moving forward. I’m excited to join such a talented team and look forward to exploring new ways to enhance what’s already the world’s greatest gaming convention.”
Carrison has more than 20 years of trade show experience leading exhibit efforts of large companies in the gaming space. Most recently, Carrison served as Everi Holding’s director of marketing and promotions where she oversaw the planning and execution of more than 22 events annually. Her previous roles include leading the worldwide trade show team for WMS Gaming, directing North American trade shows for IGT and running conferences for Spectrum Gaming Group.
