Ladbrokes Names Snow CFO

U.K. bookmaker Ladbrokes has named Richard Snow to the role of acting chief financial officer, though he will not step into the position until February 2016. That’s when current CFO Ian Bull leaves the company.

Richard Snow has been named the future acting chief financial officer of U.K.-based bookmaker Ladbrokes, effective February 2016. According to multiple news reports, Snow will not assume a director’s role with the company, which is soon expected to merge with onetime rival bookie Gala Coral.

Snow is currently head of investor relations at Ladbrokes, and has previously worked at Vodafone, Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch.

When the merger is complete, Paul Bowtell will become Ladbrokes Coral’s CFO and a director of the company.
