A ribbon-cutting ceremony on May 3 marked the transition of the former Lumiere Place Casino and Hotel in St. Louis to Horseshoe St. Louis. More than 100 Horseshoe St. Louis team members, city officials Caesars Entertainment executives and the public were present.

Horseshoe St. Louis Senior Vice President & General Manager Brian Marsh said, “We’re thrilled to officially become Horseshoe St. Louis. We’ve received nothing but positive feedback for the brand and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome our guests to the legendary Horseshoe.”

The property’s exterior will be renovated and the casino floor will be refurbished with updated carpeting and lighting and new slot machines, officials said.
