Luvisotto Appointed Executive Director of Wynn Macau Board

Wynn Macau COO Frederic Luvisotto (l.) has been appointed as executive director of the Wynn Macau board, effective immediately. The company has seen multiple high-level departures in recent months, including former president Ian Michael Coughlan.

Frederic Luvisotto, who was recently appointed as COO of Wynn Macau Ltd., has also been named executive director of the Wynn Macau board, according to the company.

The appointment is effective immediately, and is the latest in a flurry of executive-level changes for the company.

Ian Michael Coughlan and Ciaran Carruthers, Wynn Macau president and Wynn Macau Resort COO, respectively, both recently announced their upcoming departures. Coughlan will transition to an advisory role at the conclusion of his contract early next year, while Carruthers is off to Australia to assume the role of managing director and CEO of Crown Resorts.

Luvisotto, a gaming industry veteran, previously served as COO of Wynn Palace before his most recent promotions. His career also includes stints as managing director of Star Sydney and Jupiters Resort, as well as executive-level roles at Las Vegas’ Monte Carlo and MGM Grand casinos.
