Macau Warns Against Online Gambling

Macau’s Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau has issued a warning to citizens of the territory that all forms of online gambling are illegal under the law.

Macau’s official gaming regulator is warning citizens of the gaming hub that all online gaming is illegal. On June 6, the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau, or DICJ, issued an alert reminding residents that Macau has never licensed any online gaming operators.

“Hence,” said the alert, “all online interactive gambling websites in Macau are considered illegal operations.” It also warned that it will take action against any operator who falsely claims to offer licensed digital games.
