Tony Haynes has been named director of finance at Maryland Live! Casino, an affiliate of the Cordish Companies and one of the nation’s largest commercial casinos. Most recently Haynes worked at the Hollywood Casino in Columbus, Ohio, rising from accounting manager to director of finance. There he managed all of the financial aspects, totaling .5 million–of the casino.
In his new position, Haynes will develop, implement and enforce all internal and external policies and procedures regarding state-regulated finances and accounting. He also will manage the incoming and outgoing cash flow and prepare budget forecasts. In addition, Haynes will make sure the personal and financial information of Maryland Live! Casino customers remains secure.
Haynes previously was an accountant and business manager for numerous corporations, including broadcast companies, healthcare and non-profits, architects and design firms. He holds a bachelors degree in accounting from Ohio State University and a master’s degree in business administration from Ohio Christian University.
