He said the suspension would continue through the court process and added, “I’m shocked and very disturbed by the arrest of my communications director Ms. Marian Sullivan,” adding, “I am hopeful that she will seek the help that she seems to need and we will be supportive of that effort.”

According to MassLive.com, Sullivan tried to reach MGM Springfield President Mike Mathis via Face time at 3 a.m. while she was being detained.

“I am being held captive in an office with your boys,” she said, before trying to walk out of the office, according to the report.

A police report stated that Sullivan apparently was “extremely intoxicated” when she entered the casino shortly after 2 a.m., tried to pull a slot machine lever with her right foot without inserting any money, then headed to a closed restaurant and proceeded to shove items off the counter, including a cash register. “Sullivan begins picking lemons off a lemon tree and throwing them into the kitchen and the dining area of the restaurant,” the report stated. “She then kicks over a lemon tree.”

Sullivan was later caught on surveillance video in the parking garage, kicking two cars.

Sarno hired Sullivan in 2015.
