MGM Resorts International is offering a new VIP club membership deal that gives members discounted ticket prices for events held at its under-construction.
MGM and AEG have partnered to build the $375 million arena, which will seat up to 17,000 and is located east of Frank Sinatra Drive near the New York New York and Monte Carlo casinos.
MGM plans an April arena opening, which is yet to be named, and VIP club members paying annual fees of $3,500 or $5,000 will receive pre-sale access to tickets for most events and entry to either of two 6,400-square-foot clubs. MGM said plans to sell 350 club memberships but might offer more.
Event seats for VIP members will differ from event to event but generally will be located in the center sections of the arena’s lower level, MGM said.
With an April opening planned, MGM already has sold all 42 of the arena’s suites located on the suite level and six of the arena’s eight “bunker” suites located at event level.
MGM becomes the second Las Vegas property to offer special arena club memberships, joining The Orleans, which is owned by Boyd Gaming.
