MGM, Pinnacle: Marketing Partners

MGM Resorts International and Pinnacle Entertainment have announced a joint marketing partnership that will link the companies’ rewards programs, MGM’s M Life and Pinnacle’s MyChoice.

In the ultimate cross-promotional and marketing effort, two major U.S. casino companies will enable their guests to visit the other’s properties.

The relationship between MGM Resorts International and Pinnacle Entertainment allows the operators to offer rewards and provide access to gaming and entertainment in areas where they don’t have properties.

Beginning April 1, select MyChoice members can use their reward points to enjoy hotel stays, show tickets and other benefits at MGM Resorts properties in Las Vegas. MLife members will receive offers for hotel stays, dining and other perks at Pinnacle’s regional properties throughout the U.S.

MGM operates 10 Strip resorts, including the Bellagio, the Mirage, and MGM Grand as well as the CityCenter complex.

Pinnacle is based in Las Vegas, but does not operate a Strip casino. The company has properties in Colorado, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri and the Northern Nevada community of Jackpot.

“The size and breadth of MGM Resorts’ Las Vegas portfolio allows us to generously reward our best guests and inspire loyalty through the MyChoice Program,” said Pinnacle CEO Anthony Sanfilippo. “Our guests can visit luxurious resorts in Las Vegas and receive the extraordinary service they have grown accustomed to while visiting Pinnacle’s portfolio of exceptional gaming and entertainment venues.”

Bill Hornbuckle, president and chief marketing officer of MGM Resorts International, said, “With Pinnacle’s commitment to exceptional guest service and its network of properties throughout the U.S., our new alliance is a terrific fit and offers M Life members high-quality gaming and entertainment experiences in new markets. We welcome Pinnacle’s MyChoice members and look forward to introducing them to the best Las Vegas has to offer.”
