MGM Resorts Names Glover

Marcus G. Glover recently was named general manager at Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi. Previously he was senior vice president and general manager at Caesars in Northeast Ohio and served as assistant general manager and vice president of operations at Harrah's St. Louis.

MGM Resorts International recently named Marcus G. Glover general manager at Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi, where he will be responsible for overseeing the resort’s daily operations and providing strategic direction and leadership.

Glover brings more than a decade of experience in the gaming and hospitality industry to his new position. Most recently he was senior vice president and general manager at the $400 million Caesars in Northeast Ohio, where he led the urban casino’s design, development, strategic operations and customer service. Before that, Glover was assistant general manager and vice president of operations at Harrah’s St. Louis.

Between 2003 and 2008, Glover moved between Mississippi and Louisiana, where he started his gaming career in the Strategic Project Internship program at Caesars Entertainment Corporation. Glover moved up the ranks at Caesars, working on the $15 million renovation at Harrah’s New Orleans and the reopening of the Grand Casino in Biloxi following Hurricane Katrina.

Glover earned a master of business administration degree from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and holds a bachelor of arts degree in finance from Morehouse College. He began his career at Accenture and Deloitte as a business analyst/consultant.
