Microgaming Names COO

Microgaming Technologies has named longtime casino industry executive Scott Winzeler as the company’s new chief operating officer.

Casino software supplier Microgaming technologies named Scott Winzeler as the company’s new chief operating officer. Winzeler is a 20-year veteran of the gaming supply sector in both Class II and Class III markets, having held executive posts at International Game Technology, VGT and NCR, in a variety of capacities including engineering, product marketing, sales, product development and executive management.

Winzeler has worked closely with gaming industry peripheral suppliers and operators, has led expansion and growth into new markets, and transformed organizations with strategic direction and delivery.

“MGT has established itself as the clear leader in promotional software that helps casinos market more effectively, increase profitability, and deliver a better customer experience,” Winzeler said. “I am excited to be part of a company that is so personally committed to its customers and to dynamic growth.”

“Scott’s broad talents, experience, and passion for growth make him the ideal addition to the MGT Team as we increase our offerings to existing customers and build new customer relationships both domestically and internationally,” said MGT founder and CEO Mark Bryant. “As we take the next step forward by adding our real-time promotional software and self-serve redemption functionality directly to video slots, as well as kiosks, I am confident Scott’s leadership will truly help take MGT to the next level.”
