Plans for a KISS-themed Rock and Brews casino at the former Margaritaville site in Biloxi are still on, even though the Biloxi Back Bay property is for sale for $15.9 million. Gulfport-based Southeast Commercial Real Estate is handling the sale.

Rock and Brews developer Tom Moore the land owner recently changed realtors, but his group still has first right of refusal on any property deal.

“The development is still moving forward and the city is working with us. The owner of the property has always had someone that’s had the property listed, so I still feel like we’re in a good place,” Moore commented.

The $200 million Rock and Brews casino has the backing of legendary KISS members Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley. The project was first announced in 2019, with construction set to begin in March 2020. Simmons and Stanley were expected to attend the groundbreaking but Covid-19 derailed those plans.

The 40,000-square-foot casino was to include a 3,000-seat concert venue, a world tour food hall and a 300-room hotel.
