Montana’s Glacier Peaks Casino Reopening

The Glacier Peaks Casino near Browning, Montana, owned by the Blackfeet Tribe, reopened January 14 for limited service after being closed since March.

The Jackpot Restaurant, Glacier Grind Coffee Shop and Glacier Peaks Hotel also reopened, although, in the case of the restaurant, only for curbside service.

The hotel, however, is open 24/7 and has a new online booking system for making reservations. Customers are required to wear a mask upon checking in, when their temperatures will be scanned.

Jostin Lawrence, marketing manager/director commented, “It looked like the Grand Opening of the whole casino.” He added, “The picture doesn’t do it justice – they were lined up to the traffic circle. There were more than a thousand orders, and that was a problem because our output capacity is limited.”
