Morongo Casino, Resort and Spa in Southern California is in the midst of a renovation and expansion that will increase its size by about a third and add 800 new slot machines.
According to Simon Farmer, executive director of marketing, “It’s going to be a much more comfortable gaming experience for our guests.”
Farmer told News Channel 3, “We have new carpet going in, new seats coming in and new games coming in. We’ve opened up the line of sight it’s going to look a lot more open.”
The hotel renovation will mix rich mahogany with marble, and warm, soft colors. The fixtures, colors and lighting in the rooms are being updated as well, he said.
Three new restaurants are already open, including the Mozen Asian Kitchen, the “Pink Coffee Parisian café and the Good Times Café, which will offered California gastropub cuisine.
Farmer said, “It’s time. It’s time for us to grow and create a new more vibrant more comfortable experience for our guests, delivering in what they asked for.”
