Mr. Chow Opens in Caesars Palace

Mr. Chow has opened a new gourmet Chinese restaurant in Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, after prior failed attempts to open in Sin City. The two-story restaurant seats up to 277 people among three dining rooms and enclosed patio dining areas, and is open for the holiday. The restaurant is the seventh for Mr. Chow, who intended to open it at another location, but design flaws to the Harmon tower of CityCenter canceled that plan.

Esteemed international restaurateur Michal Chow is opening his seventh gourmet Chinese restaurant in time for the holidays, this time in Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

The new two-story restaurant is features a clean but colorful interior containing living-room furniture and cuisine based on a family-style banquet to enhance the social nature of dining out.

The new venue, called Mr. Chow Caesars Palace, will be run by general managers Patrice Rozat, while Kam Kwan Chee will serve as its head chef. The menu will include traditional Chinese delicacies, such as Gambei seaweed, Beijing duck, and the proprietary Mr. Chow Noodles.

The new restaurant seats 277 diners among its main dining room, two private dining areas, and outdoor terraces. It also has a champagne lounge, where an electric train delivers bottles of the restaurant’s finest drinks.

A second floor of the restaurant overlooks the pool area at Caesars Palace, and patio dining areas will be heated and enclosed in glass for year-round dining.

Mr. Chow originally intended to open the new restaurant in the CityCenter Harmon tower, but design flaws canceled the tower’s completion, and it recently was torn down.
