Mystic Lake In Midst Of Expansion

A major expansion project at Mystic Lake Casino in Minneapolis is expected to be completed in time for the 2018 Super Bowl, Sunday, February 4 at U.S. Bank Stadium. The project includes 70,000 square feet of meeting and event space and a 180-room hotel tower, making the casino hotel the area's second largest.

Mystic Lake Casino is in the midst of a major expansion project, including a 70,000 square foot meeting and event space with three large ballrooms, several smaller meeting rooms and an executive conference room. A new 180-room hotel tower overlooking the Meadows at Mystic Lake golf course will make the casino hotel the second largest in the Minneapolis area.

Construction is expected to be completed in time for the 2018 Super Bowl, Sunday, February 4 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, said Group Sales Manager Holland Tudor.

Prior Lake Mayor Kirt Briggs stated, “I know there’s been a lot of excitement around the Super Bowl. It’s great to see the growth from the standpoint of visitors to Scott County. It provides visibility into our community.”

Mystic Lake is owned and operated by the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community.
