Holland Casino has closed all 14 Netherlands casino branches in response to the Covid-19 outbreak.
The closure affects gaming halls in Amsterdam-West Sloterdijk, Amsterdam Center, Utrecht, Rotterdam, Scheveningen, Zandvoort, Groningen, Leeuwarden, Nijmegen, Enschede, Valkenburg, Eindhoven, Venlo and Breda.
Holland Casino CEO Erwin van Lambaart said the operator was following the guidelines of the government and the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment. “Also at the Holland Casino locations there are usually more than 100 guests and employees present. That is why we do not take any risks,” he said.
The measures apply until March 31.
