New Casino Breaks Ground in Carson City

A new casino to be called the Lucky Strike is now under construction in Carson City, Nevada. The property is owned by Northern Nevada Comstock Investments, which owns several other casinos in the region.

New Casino Breaks Ground in Carson City

A new 9,500-square-foot casino is being built in Carson City, Nevada by Northern Nevada Comstock Investments. The company operates several gaming locations throughout the northern part of the state, including Comstock Casino, Cactus Jacks and Jackpot Crossing in Carson City, the Fernley Nugget, COD Casino in Minden and the Fallon Nugget.

The casino is scheduled to open in the summer of 2022, according to the Nevada Appeal.

The architect for the project is Frank Woodliff of Fallon. Lumos and Associates is the civil engineer.

“The building will be an attractive addition to Carson City and another quality entertainment and gaming option,” said Mark Beauchamp, owner of Mark Beauchamp, owner of Shaheen Beauchamp Builders, which is the construction contractor behind the project.
