Golden Entertainment has named Mark Seligman, a veteran of the Las Vegas locals gaming market, as general manager of the company’s newly acquired Arizona Charlie’s casinos in Las Vegas.
Seligman will oversee all aspects of Arizona Charlie’s Decatur and Arizona Charlie’s Boulder, both of which are slated for renovations and programing changes in the aftermath of Golden’s purchase of American Casino & Entertainment Properties in October 2017.
The two properties feature a combined 560 hotel rooms, more than 1,870 machine games, 750 bingo seats, race and sports books and 10 restaurants.
The American portfolio also includes the Stratosphere hotel, casino and tower on Las Vegas Boulevard just north of the Strip.
Seligman brings nearly two decades of experience to the position, serving in executive roles with Station Casinos, most recently at Santa Fe Station, and with Warner Gaming, a casino management company, and Las Vegas’ M Resort.
At Arizona Charlie’s Decatur he succeeds Ron Lurie, who will remain with the property in a role overseeing player development and community relations, Golden said.
