New Jersey to Report Revenues by iGaming Operators

New Jersey regulators have revealed a plan to report individual revenues publicly for each online gaming operator, or skin, instead of adding them to the reports for brick-and-mortar partners.

New Jersey to Report Revenues by iGaming Operators

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) announced it will change the manner in which revenues for online gaming are reported publicly. Going forward, online gaming revenues will be reported by individual operators, showing revenues earned by each iGaming “skin,” or site.

New Jersey’s public reporting of gaming revenues have never broken down individual numbers for iGaming skins. Internet gaming revenues were added to the revenue reports of their partners, the Atlantic City casinos holding the licenses. The DGE announced that it will now break down those numbers to “increase transparency.”

The new reporting will begin this month, with revenue reports from each individual online casino and sport betting operator.

“By providing more detailed, skin-level revenue information,” the DGE said in a statement, “stakeholders and the public will have a clearer understanding of the performance of individual iGaming and sports wagering operators.”
