New Jersey’s Monmouth Park Racetrack has added a second off-track betting location in Hillsborough NJ called “Favorites in Hillsborough.”
The site has 60 carrels for players to sit and handicap and “dozens” of high-definition flat-screen TVs and a restaurant and pub.
The Hillsborough OTB will be open seven days a week at 11 a.m.
“The Hillsborough OTW has been a long time in the works,” said Bill Knauf, vice president of business operations for Monmouth in a press release. “After years of planning, remodeling, governmental approvals, and contractual negotiations, we’re pleased to finally open the doors.”
Hillsborough is in north-central New Jersey and is 21 miles away from Favorites at Woodbridge, Monmouth Park’s other OTB, which opened nearly 10 years ago.
