New Mexico Extends Intralot Contract

The New Mexico Lottery has extended the contract for the lottery gaming system supplied by Intralot USA, extending the contract three years to 2018.

System supplier Intralot USA was awarded an extension of its contract by the New Mexico Lottery Board for the provision of the online Lottery Gaming System and related products and services. The new amendment extends the current seven-year contract for three additional years from 2015 until 2018.

The extension amendment provides that Intralot will continue to offer the New Mexico Lottery the LOTOS O/S Online Gaming Computer System. This includes state-of-the-art terminals, peripheral devices and a satellite network that links retailer terminals across the state to the central system. Incorporated into this package are additional services, such as marketing support, hotline, maintenance and repair as well as field operations.

“I look forward to continuing our productive relationship with Intralot as the lottery moves towards new technology and sales channels benefiting the future of New Mexico through our support of higher education,” said David Barden, interim director of the New Mexico Lottery. “New Mexicans have benefitted from our relationship with Intralot, as our partner Intralot has consistently provided excellent technology and service at a value-based price.”

Intralot USA President and CEO Tom Little, added, “Upon award of the contract in New Mexico our first task was to successfully complete the difficult task of upgrading New Mexico’s current system to an Intralot solution. Once the system was converted, our team has continued to meet the needs and goals of the New Mexico Lottery and are pleased to continue our relationship with the award of the extension of our contract. We will continue to stand by the lottery and support its efforts to increase its sales for the benefit of the state’s good causes.”
