New York Considers Two More For Gaming Commission

Ann-Margaret Carrozza and Peter Moschetti are the respective Assembly and Senate choices for the New York gaming commission. Both are former assembly members and lobbyists.

The New York Assembly and Senate have announced their nominees for the state gaming commission—Ann-Margaret Carrozza for the Assembly and Peter Moschetti for the Senate.

Carrozza is an attorney and former assemblywoman. She served the Assembly from 1997 to 2010 and is recognized for living outside of her district. If elected, she will be the only woman on the commission, which is currently comprised of five members.

Moschetti is a former Assembly Republican who served on the Temporary State Lobbying Commission, which is no longer in operation. Moschetti is an attorney.

If added to the commission, Carrozza and Moschetti will join the board and its current agenda of approving casino application licenses. Twenty-two bidders are interested in New York’s casino development process.
