Macau’s Taipa Ferry Terminal will open in February 2017 at the earliest, and possibly as late as next May. The new terminal will have 16 ferry berths, government service offices and a customer service area that can accommodate at least 400 waiting passengers.  ?  Las Vegas NHL franchise owner Bill Foley says he is close to deciding on a team name, but “Black Knights” won’t be it. Black Knights refers to his alma mater’s mascot at West Point and was among early candidates.  •  Some 85,000 visitors are expected to attend the MAGIC fashion trade show in Las Vegas, which  is held twice per year to feature the latest in seasonal fashions.  •  The Seventh U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals reduced to $26 million a jury’s $78 million damages award against several state casinos tied to imprisoned Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich. The three-judge panel said the evidence did not support the larger penalty.  •  Sweden-based Quickspin has released its new Gold Lab slot, which has five reels, up to 25 lines, bonus rounds, and re-spins. Its game theme is a professor trying to convert low-value materials into gold.  • The Graton Resort and Casino, already the largest Indian casino in the Bay Area, is accepting reservations for its new 200-room luxury hotel that will open this fall with 20,000 square feet of event space. An hour’s drive from San Francisco, in Rohnert Park, the casino has 3,000 slots, 130 gaming tables. It opened three years ago, but always planned a phase two, with a hotel. The $175 million expansion will add rooms ranging from 500 SF to 2,600 SF, a pool and spa.
