Novomatic Americas has named 25-year slot supply veteran Greg Colella (l.) as vice president of product management for Novomatic in North America.

Slot supplier Novomatic Americas announced the appointment of industry veteran Greg Colella as vice president of product management. In this role, Colella will be responsible for scaling and managing Novomatic Americas expanding product suite.

“Greg’s experience in scaling product and design for organizations like Mikohn Gaming, Bally Gaming, Scientific Games and Konami is a huge asset to Novomatic Americas,” said Rick Meitzler, CEO of Novomatic Americas. “We have plans to do big things in 2023, and I’m thrilled to have such an accomplished product leader join us in bringing cutting-edge products to our North American users.”

Colella brings more than 25 years of expertise in managing product strategy and operations in high-volume organizations to his new role at Novomatic Americas. Most recently, he held the role of vice president of casino for WynnBET, leading its online casino products.

Colella played a crucial role overseeing the iGaming casinos, managing game providers, designing user experience, and assisting WynnBET in delivering significant revenue growth. Prior to his role at WynnBET, he was at Konami Gaming as vice president of product management, where he ran the product management organization and oversaw global product launches.

In his new role, Colella will lead and coordinate Novomatic Americas games strategy, continuing to strengthen the company’s position in the market as a provider of entertaining products. His industry and product experience will also be an asset for the wider Novomatic Group, linking Novomatic Americas closely to the group’s various development hubs worldwide.

Colella will spearhead joint implementation of projects with a clear focus on high performance products for the gaming industry in the region and beyond.

Colella previously held senior positions at notable technology companies, including Bally Gaming, Scientific Games (now known as Light and Wonder), Konami Gaming and WynnBET.
