Late last month, the Novomatic Group marked the grand opening of its second casino operation in Andalusia, Spain. The new Casino Admiral Sevilla was acquired by the group in 2016 and underwent a year of renovations before opening to the public on June 26.
Novomatic invested €6 million (US$6.8 million) to complete the new casino, which includes with 7,000 square meters (75,000 square feet) of gaming space with poker areas, live table games, 100 slot machines and sport betting terminals. According to a news release, the casino offers the largest variety of live games in the province: Omaha and Texas Hold ’em poker; American roulette; blackjack and Caribbean poker and two electronic roulettes.
The Admiral Arena Sports Bar offers sports betting with large video walls presenting football matches, rugby and other sporting events. A 500-square-meter (5,400-square-foot) event and convention venue called Sala Tarsis.

The casino complex is located in Tomares at the summit of the Aljarafe hills outside Seville.
