O’Leary to Lead Alderney eCommerce

Susan O'Leary was named director of eCommerce for the English Channel island, the States of Alderney. In her new position, O'Leary will promote the jurisdiction to eGambling operators through her extensive knowledge of the market and existing relationships with local service providers, licensees and the Alderney Gambling Control Commission.

The States of Alderney, an English Channel island, has appointed Susan O’Leary as director of eCommerce to promote the jurisdiction to eGambling operators under the regulatory regime of the Alderney Gambling Control Commission. O’Leary brings to her new position extensive knowledge of the market and what it can offer operators, as well as existing relationships with local service providers, licensees and the AGCC.

Previously O’Leary worked at Collas Crill, a leading offshore law firm, where she was a key member of the eCommerce and eGambling group represented Collas Crill on Team Alderney, the private sector group that helps promote the jurisdiction.

O’Leary said, “I am delighted to take up this position and, having represented some of the world’s leading eGambling operators and gambling service providers over the years, including many of Alderney’s licensees, I have a keen sense of what operators and gambling service providers require. I look forward to representing Alderney in this fast-paced and ever-changing industry, and to building on the excellent relationships developed over many years with local and international operators, regulators and service providers.”
