Ohio Gaming Revenues: A Record

Ohio’s gaming revenues are at an all-time high. The figures include both the four casino resorts in the state’s largest cities, and the seven racinos that offer video lottery terminals. As usual, the Hard Rock Rocksino in Northfield, led the pack.

Ohio Gaming Revenues: A Record

Casino revenues in the Buckeye state in March were at an all-time high, and some casinos and racinos also had individual record highs according to figures released by the Ohio Casino Control Commission.

For the state revenues were $81.7 million. This is 8.3 percent higher than revenues last March.

It was a banner month for the seven racinos that are operated by the Ohio Lottery Commission. For them statewide revenues were $96.4 million, a 10.1 percent increase over March 2017.

At the top was the Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park’s $23.3 million, which compared to $21.4 million for March 2017.

The Jack Cleveland Casino revenue for March was $20.1 million, a level it had not reached since 2014. This compared to $18 million in March 2017.

Jack Thistledown Racino’s March revenue of $12 million was the highest since November 2013, and compared to $10.45 million for March of year ago.
